Thank you so much for letting me go through your photos.
My Dad and I had a Lionel layout when I was nine or so (I am now 64). When I grew up I decided to go with HO scale.
I haven't done much with the trains lately but I like looking at pictures of them.
I used one of your photos for my desktop.

Thought the web-site was quite nice. Stumbled into it from the webring and my only comment would be that as an old timer with less than perfect vision the "News" with the blue on green was a little hard for me to read. I highlighted it and that make it lots easier.

Thanks for the pics, growing up in chicago near the I55 overpass and 8 sets of rails I have been a train watcher also. I used to ride my bike down to the hub and watch the activities (that was a long ride)
